One main challenge that faced me upon my recovering #journey through psychosis was getting back into my passion which is no doubt, fashion. Here is a sample of a #bodysuit I was working on when I had gained a few extra kilos due to medication.
After weight loss - I lost 20kgs. This outfit I styled - both pieces are from different op-shops!
So, this November saw a massive shift in energy and transformation within myself and those whom I hold dearest to my heart. Joy and blessings to all.
I was assigned to create some 'tape art' for a friend. This was what it looked like before it started peeling itself off! Grr.
Early one morning, I saw this projected onto my wardrobe door. I was astonished and could not believe my eyes, as it looked like an upside down full moon eclipse transforming before me. (Am I tripping balls ???)
I soon discovered that there was a pin prick in my curtain, and it had projected this beautiful view of the clouds moving past the sun, only upside down. Marvelous.
A work done by my very talented friend and next door neighbour, Sanja Gacic.
When we teamed up & got those creative vibes going.
As Spring and Summer are making their entrance to our weather season, so too are the fashion parades & shows; in Melbourne, people gather to celebrate 'Melbourne Spring Fashion Week,' where they note the popular trends and fashion statements of the Season.
I decided it had been some time since I last got involved in a show, so I went forth and became a part of it. I worked back stage at the Hub Runway Show in Melbourne, that was in a massive tent, beautifully decorated with flowers, lights etc. I particularly enjoy the fashion frenzy that is experienced back stage with preparation of the show, and quick outfit changes for the models. I was assigned to dress the model Bella, and what a charm she was!
Following are some snaps I was lucky enough to inconspicuously capture. Some of the brands that were seen in this runway show included: Cue, Review, SABA, Veronika Maine, Seduce & Sportscraft.
